Welcome to RV-Fam, your local RV service and repair shop located in Virginia Beach.
Ever wonder when you are getting ready for your trip if everything is all right and your are good driving or towing your RV?
You need to do a state inspection and you want to be ready before you go to do it?
There's so many things to check and it can be overwhelming or you are not sure if everything as supposed to be and in good condition.
With our great deal we can help you to worry less and enjoy your great vacation.
With RV Safety Inspection we will go through many points such as:
- We will check your Marker lights and mirrors for proper operation;
- We will make sure all your detectors (smoke, carbon monoxide, propane gas), fire extinguishers and emergency exit windows are proper installed and are functioning.
Did you know that the tires are the most common cause of accidents on the roads?
We will check your tires and will give recommendations if there is any.
After tires another most important check is location and operations of the breakers and ground Fault Circuit Interrupters.
We will also check the converter/inverter/batteries.
Let's continue with our safety check list.
Next, we will look at your fresh water and wastewater systems including the tanks. The only thing we don't do is we do not drain the tanks.
Your waste tanks must be drained regularly. To do this, you will need to locate and RV dump site or sewage connection at a full-service campsite.
In order to make sure you are warm when you are inside, your food stays fresh and you can take hot shower we will examine the propane system including refrigerator, furnace and water heater.
How about some space inside and some shades/rain covers? We will inspect your slides and awnings as well.
To be sure your motorhome or trailer is in safe position we will check the operation of the leveling or stabilizing systems.
In order to travel anywhere with your trailer we need to check the Tongue, or King Pin overall condition; supplemental hitching equipment; Safety chains; Umbilical cord and connector; Breakaway switch and cable; hitch receiver; Trailer wiring harness and plug.
Last but not least we will do roof inspection to make sure there's no damages or cracks. Any kind of damages/cracks can cause serious problems on outside and inside of your RV/Trailer as well.
At the end of our inspection we will top up the fluids, grease slide tracks and air up all tires!
And here you go! You're all set up and ready for your new adventure!
Pre-Trip Safety Inspection is the best way to make sure your vacation goes smoothly as planned!
